The Procedure Process
Our procedures are written for the equipment on your sites and will be produced accurately, quickly and economically. The SSOP manuals that we provide for your facilities are not boiler-plate, generic procedures to “get by” on an audit; they are training tools that allow new Operators to operate safely, and efficiently.
Not only do good procedures provide a means to guide an Operator safely through a new or unfamiliar process, they also protect equipment from damage and ensure a task is completed properly the same way each time. Our procedures can be used to provide competency management for the Operations team.
Our manuals are legitimate proof of your due diligence to safety, limiting the liability, and reducing exposure for the energy company and management.
Due to extensive process experience, 95% of the facility’s operating procedure information can be gathered without help from the Ops on site. We will tour the site taking notes and photos, capture print screens from the HMI and review any pfd/P&IDs to get most of the information. Then, when we have all of the information we can get on our own, we will communicate with your Lead Operator or Facility Operator and collect the remaining data. We then take all the information and photos we have gathered, return to our office and create a comprehensive SSOP manual for your facility within a few weeks.
Facilities require constant care; processes adjusted, alarms need to be attended to, phone calls answered, daily readings done, production books and reports completed and sent in, contractors orientated and permitted and on and on. Operators on shift do not have the time to focus on the intricate, time consuming and important task of writing site specific operating procedures. Let us do this for you and let your team of professional operators do what they do best – optimize production and ensure steady run time.
